Event Details:

The University of Waterloo School of Architecture (UWSA) is proud to reaffirm our long-standing Presence in Rome with an exhibition of design projects, sketches, photographs, and videos contributed by the class of 2025 during the Rome Program.

The material, serving as both a commentary and a criticism of the Italian built landscape, conveys the lasting impact of our 3-month stay in Rome during a pivotal moment in our degree. Since 1979, the Rome Program has been an integral part of the bachelor’s degree at UWSA, exposing students to a new approach to architecture and architectural pedagogy.

Condensing three months of work and twenty-eight centuries of architectural history into a time capsule of our observations, this showcase is only made possible by UWSA, the Gaslight District and Fabrik Architects for lending us their space, the broader Cambridge community, alumni, and students of the class of 2025.

We are delighted to welcome you to view our Fall 2024 material in celebration of the 45th year of a continued legacy.
